Here's the latest version of shot 14. Please let me know what I can do to make it look more realistic. I moved all of the animation to the end, since the next shot follows the bullet. Please let me know what you think. EDIT--After watching a few times, and getting some feedback, I'm going to redo it again and try to add a few things. --Namely having the gun move upward.
Also--I've started working on analyzing Nuit Blanche's camera movements so that I can match them to ours. I assume I'm still supposed to be working on that...If someone else has already started please let me know so I don't step on anyone's toes.

Looking at it now, I think the timing of the gunshot in relation to the motion of her head needs to be shifted. When her head comes up (as if she is aiming) there should be more of a pause before she pulls the trigger. As it is now, she pulls the trigger right when she finishes tilting her head. I think she needs to pause for a few seconds after tilting her head up before she pulls the trigger. Does the footage extend far enough to do that?
ReplyDeleteNope...the gun fires right at the end of the available footage. In fact, the bullet is still on screen in the final frame.
